I can’t believe our beautiful family friend has left this world. Our hearts ache for the family she has left behind and hope that they can all take comfort from the overwhelming love that was felt for Sue and the wonderful memories of her that are being shared. For us, these memories include: many happy hours alongside a football pitch cheering our boys on; so many tough days lifted by visiting the tearooms where there was always the warmest of welcomes; total acceptance of our habits of stacking milk cartons (!) but, above all, the compassion shown when our lives were topsy turvy and never being judged for this. I am so proud that the 20 year friendship that our sons have Sue is still the strongest ever and I will be forever grateful for you and your family always having been there for us. I don’t even think there are enough words to describe what a wonderful, kind, loving, caring lady you were and how much you meant to so many including me. You and Pete changed my life in so many ways all those years ago when it was just me and Ashleigh and I will forever be grateful. I will never forget you and you’ll stay in my heart forever. You even managed to make working an absolute pleasure just by simply being you.
